How the pool works
One pool of hours. Two ways to spend them.
Your block holds ten hours. Execution draws from it one-for-one. Strategy is the premium work, so it draws at twice the rate — the same way our standard rates are priced.
Execution — $150 / hr
1 hour = 1 pool hour
Builds, implementations, integrations, campaigns, security remediation, training, delivery in the field. Drawn one-for-one from your block.
Design & Consultation — $300 / hr
1 hour = 2 pool hours
Strategy sessions, maturity assessments, roadmaps, solution and architecture design. Twice the rate, so it draws two hours from the pool.
One block, endless combinations
You don't have to decide the mix up front.
Spend the pool as the work reveals itself — an Associate confirms which kind of hour applies before anything is drawn.
2 hrs strategy (= 4 pool) + 6 hrs execution (= 6 pool) = 10 pool hours. Or five hours of pure strategy. Or ten hours of pure build.

An Associate confirms whether each task is consultation or execution before any hours are drawn, so you always know the rate going in.

We track every hour against your pool and share a running balance, so you can see exactly what's left at any time.

Use it within a year
Hours are valid for twelve months from purchase. Use them on one project or spread them across several.
The particulars: all amounts in Canadian dollars, plus GST. The block holds ten pool hours, valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. Execution work draws one pool hour per hour worked; Design & Consultation draws two pool hours per hour worked, reflecting our standard $300 and $150 rates. An Associate confirms the classification of each task before work begins. The Introductory Block is available on a client's first engagement with rethinQ. Engagement terms, including the treatment of any unused hours at the end of the twelve months, are confirmed in writing before purchase.
